Naini Lake, a natural freshwater lake in Nainital, provides the tourists opportunities of boating and yachting. A lunar-shaped lake, it is one of the four lakes in the Kumaon hills, with the others being Sattal Lake, Bhimtal Lake and Naukuchiyatal Lake. As you go boating and/ or yachting on the lake, the vistas of the three surrounding mountain peaks -Naina Peak, Tiffin Top and Snow View, simply take your breath away.

Nainital Ropeway is one of the main attractions of Nainital. This ropeway connects Snow-View Point (at 2270 Mts.) with Nainital near flats. Aerial ropeway starts at Mallital, there are only two trolleys to carry passengers.
The time - duration trolley takes approx. 151.7 seconds (2 Minutes 31 Seconds ) to cover one way journey by trolley.
Cabin capacity is 10+1 or 825 kg.

Rope Way :- This Cable Car connects Snow View from the town below.
The Rope Way is made with state of the Art Swiss Colobration and has got a very steep ascend and descend.
It offers a panoramic view of the lake while ascending and a bird eye view of the flats while descending.

Paragliding has increasingly becoming popular over the years due to increasing demand of adventure activities. The Paragliding is the most simple form to fly and all you require is a Para glider. A Para-glider is a non-motorized, foot-launched inflatable wing, which is easy to transport, launch, and land.The Para gliders can fly in the air for hours with the help of the glider and climb to altitudes, more than 10,000 feet high or opt for cross-country flying adventure covering vast distances

It is quite possible to fly without wind as there is always air ! Landing involves lining up for an approach into wind, and just before touching down, �flaring� the wing to minimise vertical and/or horizontal speed. You do not need any experience or knowledge, just the desire to fly and follow your instructor's guidance on positions for take off, time spent in the air and landing.

Trekking Itinerary

Day 1:- Pickup from Kathgodam railway station, drive to Nainital. Check in resort. After break fast visit Snow view (250 km. range of Himalaya) then trek down or by Ropeway (aerial express) to Mall road. After lunch enjoy walking to Thandi Sadak and Explore mall road then back to the Fair light trails Resort for Night halt.
Day 2:- After break fat trek to China peak.(3 k.m.) Hidden in a dense forest, long hike through jungle to mountain top, China peak offering a panoramic view of Himalaya, from hear one can view entire Nainital then back to the Fair light trails Resort.
Day 3:- After breakfast trek to Vinayak camp (12 k.m.).The trekking trail goes along the foot hills and passes through oak and deodar forests with a huge variety of plants facing the high Himalaya and abounding in wild life and bird life. Check in the camp vinayak.
Day 4:- After breakfast trek to Kungkharak camp (12 k.m.),Enjoy the natural beauty is reassuring and rejuvenating offering Rolling Meadows, Jagged rock faces, scenic valley with hospitable people having rich culture and fascinating tradition. Check in the camp Kungkharak.
Day 5:- After breakfast drive to Bara pathar then trek to Lands end, Rock garden to Nainital for lunch ,after noon take a boat ride in the lake or visit the High altitude zoo, then back to the Fair light trails resort for night stay.
Day 6:- Morning after breakfast checkout from the resort and drive to Market for shopping, after lunch drive to Bhowali which is the fruit market, Enjoy the lakeside leisure in Sattal. If you love bird watching the trails at Sattal are just to be. There are leopards, jackals, wild boars and barking deer and other animals in the forest. , Visit folk culture museum at Mehragaon, which showcases a collection of art crated by Dr. Yashodhar Matpal , Visit Bhimtal larger then Nani lake, Nakuchiyatal it is a lake with nine corners then drive to Kathgodam Railway station.

Wildlife Sighting in Nainital

Located in the Nainital district of Uttarakhand, near Ramnagar-Kashipur highway, Jim Corbett National Park offers tourists the perfect opportunity to explore the wild creations of nature. The rich wildlife of the place includes tigers, leopards, sloth bear, Himalayan black bear, dhole, jackal, yellow throated marten, Himalayan palm civet, Indian grey mongoose, common otter, porcupine, and black naped hare, elephants, spotted deer, etc.
